Home Delivery of medicines in Gandhinagar in less than 6 minutes!

Whoa..... seems impossible isn't it? But, yes we did it. The day was 26th August,  just after the Patidar Clash with Gujarat Police & there was curfew announced in Major areas. People were informed to stay at home. All shops were also informed to stay offline. But we thought why would one close a Medical store as it is the first thing that is required in such situation, hence from 08:00 am in the morning we along with few other regular and general stores in Kudasan opened up, but within 2 hours a mob of Patidars came and closed everything, even hospitals were not spared.

Just after that by 11:00 am whole Gandhinagar was closed, streets were empty, all you can see is Policemen everywhere, all vehicles were checked. we were just sitting on the terrace of our store thinking of loss that is to be encountered for the whole day.

As we were talking about it, we got a call from one our regular customer about the order, we explained everything and told that we can deliver the medicine by evening due to the present situation in Gandhinagar. But somehow that patient already skipped the medicine yesterday as he got short of pills and he had no idea of what would happen today in City, just coz he trusted of Medicine delivery service.

Now we have no option, on one side there is our customer and on the other there is fear of the mob as they might break us and our shop if they find it open. just after we hanged up the call, we got a series of call of almost other 9 new customers, that was something bizzare. Now when we have almost 10 customers in front of us with all orders, we had no other thought other than going for it.

We had very less time to complete it, we ran downstairs, opened the store quickly, entered & closed from inside. Miraculously all medicines were available in stock, atlest we had h=generics for the same composition in few branded medicines.

Allocated every medicine, Bills were ready in next 10 mins, now it was time to kick start. It was difficult to manage everything in an hour. Hence, we called up all our customers that we will provide the home delivery of medicines in this much exact time and the billing details too, this will make the process quick.

Packed the Medicine bag, Started the bike and there was no looking back now. The other Guy closed the store and went upstairs quickly.

After exact an hour returned to the MediCall Pharmacy store building in Gandhinagar & then I came to know how quickly everything happened. Perhaps we could say that this home delivery of medicines in Gandhinagar was one of the fastest delivery ever happened at any place.
